Early prototypes were fabricated as tow-craft. A Torque Reaction Engine can be made VERY large, e.g. 100' long, with power coming from, for example, a contanerized diesel generator or other sources on a barge. A PHISH like this could tow barges long distances. If this system improved efficiency by 10% compared to regular tug boats, a long-distance towing operation between Seattle and Anchorage would save tens of thousands of dollar, with significantly reduced noise.Â
